Will you help us win the 1st leg of our race to China?

Blind Ambition -- the first visually impaired dragon boat team in the U.S. to compete equally with sighted teams -- has been invited to race in China in June 2010!

We're honored to be invited and want to accept this amazing opportunity to promote the abilities of the blind/visually impaired BUT, to go to China we have to raise $45,000 to pay for travel, accommodations, and other necessities for the team and our equipment.

This is an unprecedented chance for the Rose City to support the pioneering athletes of Blind Ambition and showcase the abilities of the blind/visually impaired on an international stage. Will you help?

Attend the Blind Ambition Dessert Auction to help send the team to China. We're inviting business and community leaders to join us Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. for networking, Chinese dinner at Shanghai Noble House, and a not-to-be-missed auction of incredible desserts. This is an enjoyable, reasonably priced auction and a fun chance to meet members of Blind Ambition.

Tickets are only $15 and include dinner, appetizers and tea.
